Lumorian is a constructed language that is aimed at being simple in nature.
Many words use prefixes to help people quickly pick up what they mean.
- Nouns start with a consonant which is followed by a vowel. Verbs are the opposite. Both can be any
number of syllables.
- Letters are mostly pronounced like their sound, not saying the letter. Such as "a" is pronounced ah
not
ayy.
- "i's" at the end of a word are pronounced like saying the letter e.
- "o's" are pronounced like saying the letter.
- "q's" are pronounced like the "c" sound
- No nouns should end in "s" unless it is plural
- There are no articles such as a, an, the etc.
Prefixes:
ze - more, positive
lo - less, negative
di - down, opposite
li - up, same
Suffixes:
s - plural
